St.Louis Public Radio: Battle over Prop A and right to work heads into home stretch

There are critical votes across the nation today, and one I'm paying close attention to is the battle by Missouri workers to overturn newly instituted right-to-work laws. Federal law already prohibits employers from requiring workers to join a union -- there is no need for these additional laws that harm the workforce while lining the pockets of CEOs.

Workers in states with right-to-work laws -- like Utah -- earn on average about $8,700 less per year than states without these laws. We need to empower unions and workers to keep our communities strong.
